Precision CNC machining in Japan for prototypes, jigs and production parts
Shimada Kiko is a machining company in Komaki, Aichi, near Nagoya. We combine simultaneous 5-axis and 3-axis machining centers, CAD/CAM and coordinate measurement so that buyers spend less time on checking, chasing and re-ordering. Our company message is simple: we make sourcing machined parts easy.

What we machine
Prototypes and complex shapes
Simultaneous 5-axis machining of mid-size parts up to about 800 mm in diameter: inverter housings, aircraft-related parts and jigs, prototype parts for motorcycles and cars.
Jigs and equipment parts
Plates with many holes, fixtures and parts for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, including combined vertical turning and milling for features such as seal grooves.
Small lots and repeat orders
From a single prototype to lots of 10 to 20 pieces and repeat production. A 6-pallet changer and a 200-tool magazine let us run unattended at night.
Materials we regularly machine include aluminum, stainless steel, titanium and Inconel.

Quality and records
We check dimensions and geometric tolerances with the Keyence XM-5000 and the FARO arm, and keep inspection records and machining conditions in our own information system. Inspection reports with measured values are available on request. Please share your inspection requirements before we quote.
We held ISO 9001 certification from 2009 to 2023. Since 2023 we run our own documented quality-record system instead of the certification.
How to request a quote
- Send drawings and 3D dataEmail info@shimadakiko.com with PDF drawings or 2D CAD and 3D data. CATIA native data is our first choice, STEP solid data the second.
- Tell us the conditionsQuantity, material, surface or heat treatment, required delivery date and inspection requirements. Leave blank what you do not know yet.
- Large filesAttachments up to 20 MB are fine by email. For larger files use our upload link, which goes straight to our own server, then email us the file names.
- We reply within one business dayWe confirm receipt and tell you when to expect the quotation. We reply in English. Please contact us in writing: we do not take enquiries by phone.
Terms for orders from outside Japan
- Quotations are in USD or JPY and valid for 30 days.
- First order: payment in advance, by bank transfer.
- Larger orders: a deposit with the order and the balance before shipment. Ask us about splitting a large order.
- Customer-supplied material: when you supply the material, payment after delivery can be arranged.
- Repeat orders: open account terms can be agreed once we have worked together.
- Shipping: on your courier account (DHL, FedEx or UPS), or we add the freight to our invoice. Import duties and taxes are paid by the buyer.
- Bank charges outside Japan are paid by the buyer.
- Export control: please confirm your drawings and data are not subject to export restrictions in your country before sending them to us.
